Thank you forreaching out on the community and telling us about your issue. How long have you been having this issue? It sounds like quite a while but im unsure how long. You also do reference the support article listed here in regards to reauthorizing the accounts. I do have another question. Have you tried deactivating and reactivating your capital one accounts yet? If not I would actually recommend trying that to see if we're able to get some connection back with them. I'll link articles down below for you to do so if you haven't previously. -online-banking-services-quicken-account
Refunds for electronically delivered products through Quicken are typically applied to your debit or credit card within 2 - 3 days. If you purchased an electronically delivered product (download) from another retailer, you will receive your refund via a paper check in 3 to 4 weeks.
If you uncheck accounts during the process, this will revoke your authorization, and prevent the accounts from updating. If you've unchecked accounts, you can just follow this FAQ for Windows, or this FAQ for Mac, to authorize them again for download into Quicken.
Downloading your data is the most convenient way to get your transactions and other account information from your bank, credit card company, and other financial institutions into Quicken. Instead of entering each transaction manually, you can set up your accounts for automatic download directly into Quicken. To set up your online accounts, see Setting up accounts.
You can manually enter transactions even in your accounts that are set up for automatic download. When Quicken downloads from your bank account a transaction that matches the date and amount of a manually entered transaction, the downloaded transaction will match the manual transaction, resulting in only one transaction in your account register. Any manually entered payee name, category, memos, or tags will be retained. Matched transactions are represented by the icon .If Quicken fails to recognize that a downloaded transaction matches a manually entered transaction, you can match them manually by dragging and dropping one onto the other.
For example, suppose you have a scheduled transaction for your electricity bill. You scheduled it to be paid on the first Friday of every month. Then later you pay that bill at your bank's website. When Quicken downloads a transaction from your bank account that consists of a payment to your electricity company that took place around the beginning of the month with the same amount as the scheduled transaction, it automatically marks the scheduled transaction for your electricity bill for that month as paid.
If Quicken fails to recognize that a downloaded transaction matches a scheduled transaction, you can match them manually by dragging and dropping one onto the other. Matched transactions are represented by the icon .
When you set up an online account and download transactions, you will only see a limited number of transactions, usually the last 90 days of transactions. This is a limit set by banks. This is one reason why you should regularly download transactions from your bank. You do not want to update so rarely that there are gaps in your transactions.
One of the reasons QFX is not the preferred option for most users is that you must download the file directly from your financial institution's website. While we can provide general instructions, websites vary.
Once you have downloaded your QFX file, you'll need to import that file into Quicken. If this file was requested as part of a process, such as the Download Transactions screen, follow the instructions there. Otherwise follow the instructions below:
To request a release, or partial release, of property securing a mortgage loan, the borrower must submit an Application for Release of Security (Form 236). An application is considered complete when all required documentation and information, as outlined within this Servicing Guide and Form 236, has been obtained. The servicer must counsel the borrower to consider the costs and benefits of any action covered by this policy prior to evaluating a request.
The servicer must refer to the terms of the security instrument to determine how compensation awards are to be distributed in the event of either a partial taking or total taking of a property securing a mortgage loan. However, the terms of the security instrument permit some flexibility in determining how the proceeds should be applied if the borrower has abandoned the property or does not acknowledge a specific offer to award compensation or settle a claim.
Thanks for responding! However, I don't need to download transactions, they are downloading, they're just not downloading with enough information to allow me to book them into their proper accounts without logging into the bank and looking up each transaction.
Please read previous issue!!! We can download the transactions but there isn't enough information to determine what they are without logging into the bank to pull up each transaction. It shows up with this big long name: POS DEB 1052 3/31/19 60678929 S. The (S) is the beginning of the name of the place the debit card was ran. That is impossible to know. The checks have NO information on them at all. Just Check 1042 I think it is set up wrong. Please check in with First Financial www.bankatfirst.com in Indiana and Ohio. Thank you as I have been fighting this for over a year and they say it is your fault and Intuit/Quickbooks says it is their fault. I don't care who's fault it is but it is a pain to have to go back into the bank to look up every transaction.
Certain conditions on your computer, such as security settings or browser cookies, can prevent the Acrobat Reader Installer from downloading. Often, the easiest way to resolve an unsuccessful download is to try the download again using a different browser. Try any of the following browsers that you are not already using:
If you still have trouble downloading Acrobat Reader, try using this direct download link. Select your operating system, language, and version, and then click Download now. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the download.
An unstable Internet connection can prevent you from downloading from other websites. Try downloading a file from another website, such as www.microsoft.com, www.apple.com, or www.mozilla.com. If the problem persists, contact your network administrator, help desk resource, or Internet service provider (ISP). See Resolve an unstable Internet connection to the Adobe website or FTP site for details.
After you establish a stable Internet connection, try to download the file again. If the original attempt to download the file was interrupted, restart the download process within the web browser you were using.
A high volume of activity can interfere with an Internet connection. For best results, try to download files when there is less activity (for example, late in the evening, early in the morning, or on weekends).
Video card manufacturers frequently update their software drivers. If you haven't recently updated the video card driver, download an updated driver from the manufacturer's website. (To determine the manufacturer of a video card, view the card's properties in Device Manager.)
Visit the forums. See if other users are experiencing similar download and installation problems by visiting the Reader user-to-user forum, or the Deployment & Installation forum on AcrobatUsers.com. Try posting your problem on the forums for interactive troubleshooting. When posting on forums, include your operating system and your product's version number.
For $14.99 Intuit will sell you Quicken 2007 for Lion at -finance-software/quicken-2007-osx-lion.jsp which is how I keep Quicken 2007 running on MacOS X 10.9.5. Quicken 2015 is reported to have problems importing QIF files which I need to do regularly.
Is there an add-on report writer for Quicken?I find their reports terrible. After many years of trying different programs I always come back to quicken. currently installed program is Quicken 2013 - which made a mess of the reporting. I will not buy another quicken release until they improve the report generation - it does not look like Q2015 changed anything in this feature
SEE Finance has worked wonderfully well for me. In imported my old quicken transactions back through 1997., lots of old accounts. it was the only option that gave me full compliance with he investments accounts I had in quicken.
The OL-290 errors went away for me a couple weeks ago. I'm using 2007 under Mavericks. I'm once again successfully downloading transactions and sending payments with Wells Fargo, Chase, and TD Ameritrade.
I just got an update notice in Quicken 2007 for version 16.2.0. The release notes: "Upgraded network security protocols to resolve issues with Direct Connect transaction downloads caused by financial institutions that recently dropped support for the older SSL v3 protocol". I wonder if they talked the financial institutions into temporarily re-enabling SSL v3 until they got this update done. I guess I could not install the update and see if I start getting the OL-290 errors again, but I'm not that altruistic.
